These computer labs will serve to reduce spaces in access to devices and the Web by providing public computer access for individuals with impairments, Marylanders without long-term home (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning residents. The program supplies grants of as much as $65,000 for up to 100% for the production, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The financing source for the program is the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and all federal rules required of the funding use to the program. The Maryland Workplace of Statewide Broadband is making up to approximately $11.8 million readily available through Connect Maryland's Network Facilities Grant Program Round 2.
