A match of 5% of the eligible task expenses is needed for this grant opportunity. Grant and match requirements are more described in the Grant Application Package. The funding source for the program remains the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Capital Projects Fund and all federal guidelines required of the funding source apply to the program.
These computer system labs will serve to decrease gaps in access to gadgets and the Web by offering public computer system access for individuals with disabilities, Marylanders without permanent residence (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning citizens. The program offers grants of up to $65,000 for up to 100% for the production, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer labs/centers throughout Maryland.
The financing source for the program is the American Rescue Strategy Act of 2021 and all federal rules needed of the funding apply to the program. The Maryland Office of Statewide Broadband is making up to approximately $11.8 million offered through Connect Maryland's Network Infrastructure Grant Program Round 2.
Funding will support projects that improve broadband transportation capacity, affiliation, resiliency, redundancy, and long-lasting network scalability. These projects are planned to strengthen the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of broadband networks serving locals, businesses, and public-interest utilizes throughout Maryland.
